Fire Ceremony is a Sacred Honoring of Fire. They say that Fire only exists because of life, and life only exists because of fire.
In the Peruvian tradition, the spirits of fire are known as salamandres, and are considered to be masculine, Fire is one of the elements to transmute energy. Think of how Fire turns wood to ashes, in this way, Fire can serve as a symbolic level in our own fields.
A fire ceremony includes several steps. As a group we:
Gather around the fire and sing to attract the spirits and wait for the fire to become “friendly”.
Take turns to blow our gratitude for the fire into something burnable, such as leaves, a flower, or food. By blowing our breath, or sacred life force, with gratitude into the item we offer our energy and thankfulness to fire and its spirits.
Take turns bringing the fire into our energy fields. In the Peruvian tradition, there are three areas of the body called the three Centers of Exchange, and in a traditional Peruvian ceremony we cleanse each Center of Exchange with the fire.
Cleanse any items that are sacred to us in the fire if desired.
Offer prayers in the form of Quintus, as they are known in the Peruvian tradition, for ourselves, for our community, for the world. We create a quintu by breathing into three bay leaves, then we offer those leaves to the fire.
Throughout the ceremony we sing. Chloe or I will share audio of the songs we sing, and possibly the lyrics, so check back for updates.
This event will be canceled in the case of pouring rain.
This event will be held in Springfield, Missouri at Chloe or Amber’s house.
All genders are welcome. Infants are welcome, but please contact one of us directly if you have any children between 3 mos and 16 yrs. We want to respect the time and expectations of everyone who attends, and while we would love to welcome kids, they can be distracting for some.
There is no charge for this event, but donations are welcome.
After the ceremony, we will gather for a potluck and conversation.

Intro to Facial Reflexology Workshop (next class date not set yet)
Learn the fundamentals of Facial Reflexology, and how to palpate the 10 reflex zones of the face with your hands and reflexology wand.
In Facial Reflexology, we study the face as a map, and within this landscape, there are reflex zones that correlate to every organ, limb and structure of the body.
By stimulating the reflex zones, we are able to re-direct stagnant flow in the body, where there is disharmony or injury. Through applying Facial Reflexology, we enter a parasympathetic state via the nervous system; resulting in a more vibrant, lifted, and radiant complexion.
This workshop is designed to elevate, simplify, and bring joy to your self-care practice. We will be working on ourselves, not each other.

Elementa (Facial Rejuvenation Course)
A 5 day in person certification course/immersion for licensed Estheticians, Massage Therapists, Yoga Teachers and other Somatic Practitioners.
Elementa is for you if you are passionate about holistic application and mindset, as it relates to healing, restoration, and beauty.
During the 5 days you will be immersed in the poetic tides of each of the 5 Elements Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water. Learning their constitutions and new pathways about yourself and the world within and around you. Elementa is so much more than a certification class for professionals. When you sign up for Elementa there is the expectation that you are eager, willing and incredibly optimistic in the story our faces reveal to us, and trust that with love, intention, and ancient wisdom in the hands, messages will come to us whole, clear, and with deep life purpose.
Every blemish, mole, wrinkle, fascial pain pattern, and facial anomaly is a written letter from our lived experiences. The unique structures of our face remind us of where we come from and where in life we may land. It is through the face that the body speaks what the mind cannot.
Curriculum
Chinese Medicine 5 Element Theory Facial Reflexology.
Intro to Chinese Medicine 5 Element Face Reading.
Fascia + Lymphatic Drainage Massage of the chest, upper shoulders, neck, face, and head.
Elemental self-discovery, as it pertains to the constitutions of Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water.
Foundation of the Nervous System
Included:
Prerequisite Course- a self paced lesson to be taken at your leisure. This will prepare you for the curriculum of Elementa. Must be completed before the first day of class.

Students must be present for each of the 5 days and attend class from beginning to end to receive their certificate.
Nourishing snacks will be provided, lunch is not. You are welcome to bring lunch to make etc. There are also nearby restaurants.
Sample Schedule
Day 1.) Sacred space and opening circle, theory, foundational face maps, lunch, balancing routine demo, 90 min trades.
Day 2.) Water + Wood, lunch, fascia demo for the chest and neck, 90 min trades.
Day 3.) Fire, Earth, and Metal, lunch fascia demo for the face and head, 90 min trades.
Day 4.) Fascia review, lymph demo, lunch, 2hr trades, full moon cacao circle + fire ceremony.
Day 5.) Self-practice, drum journey, lunch, 2hr trades, closing circle, certificate of completion.
Note: Class is begins at 9am and ends at 5pm (roughly) each day.
Price: $1,400 with a non-refundable deposit (goes toward entire class price) of $300
After you have made your deposit, the rest of the amount can be split into two payments of $550 or paid all at once. Must be paid in full by July 1st.
